She found me outside, and made sure that Siamese Rescue realized what a wonderful boy I was! I've had a pretty hard life so far, but I'm hoping that from now on, things will start to look up. I'm healing from a couple of abscessed hind paws, and I'm FIV positive, but since I'm a lover, not a fighter, that shouldn't be too much of a problem. You see, FIV is passed from cat to cat by exchange of body fluids, much like the human version (HIV), and the usual way this happens in altered cats is bites. That's probably how I came down with it. I was running away from a territorial cat, and he bit my feet before I managed to escape. That's why I'm alive today!Anyhow, I'm relaxing in my foster home kitty spa, learning how to be an inside kitty.l I'm just fine with my litter box, and I'm eating very well. I talk to foster meowmy a lot, especially when I think it's time for me to eat again. She only lets me eat wet food twice a day, but I'm trying to convince her it's in her best interest for me to eat three times a day. Let's see who wins!UPDATE: I'm scheduled to be neutered and microchipped July 8, and can go home once we've made sure I'm recovering well.
