Description
Guido is approx 3 yrs old & possibly FIV+ (one slight positive & one negative test result so far). He was previously diabetic (which was diet controlled) but his last tests came back all good so the vet thinks it was transient diabetes caused by stress. His 1st few yrs of life on the streets were rough - having to defend himself w/ compromised eyesight (he can now see, only seems to have compromised peripheral vision). But don't let any of this stuff fool you - this is one loving boy! He absolutely loves people & prefers a home w/out other pets or small children. He would make someone an amazing companion, especially someone who needs a kitty to fill a void so they don't feel lonely. He will sit next to you and let you pet him non-stop, he loves to talk and will even follow you around. Not shy at all, he'll approach whoever comes near for a head rub. He loves to give scratchy kisses on your chin, sit in the sunlight & lick your hands while you attempt to type on the computer! Yep, he'd be a great pal for some special person who has the patience & understanding to give a guy like him a chance. Is that you?
