I have over 10 years of experience with children starting with babysitting jobs as a young teenager and later on raising my own daughter. I am currently licensed with the state of Texas as a Registered Child Care Home. I have been FBI background checked and stay in compliance with my Child Care Certification by attending child-related educational workshops and classes year-round. I hold a current Infant and Child CPR and First Aid Certification. I believe parent/provider communication is key to a successful child care relationship. Beyond communication, I provide a healthy, safe, and loving home-like environment for all children where they can learn and grow on a daily basis. Letter, shape, color, and number recognition will be taught as part of my program as well as arts & crafts, music, concepts (like big and little), science, and story telling. The goal of child care is to have fun and provide a little extra learning stimulation for the older children. We have a separate large play-room for all indoor activities and a large, fenced-in backyard with variety of yard toys, play structures, and riding toys. I provide positive reinforcement and encouragement in all your child does or attempts to do.
I currently have two other children in my care and need to fill the 3rd spot.
