The CenTex Humane Society is a nonprofit organization. The humane society runs the Second Chance Animal Shelter, the only no-kill shelter in the Central Texas area. We are open: Monday-Friday Noon to 5pm Saturday & Sunday 11am-5pm254-526-6200All animals adopted from the 2nd Chance Shelter are spayed/neutered and up-to-date with their shots, unless age or medical conditions required us to not vaccinate or alter.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Volunteers enter the information. They don't know any specifics about the animals. We do our best to give you as much information as we have, but sometimes, our best is not good enough.
