Description
Beauty came to WAG Rescue after being on the road a long time. She is a gentle, affectionate dog that gets along with other dogs in a public setting, but really wants to be left alone when she is resting. She knows basic obedience commands such as sit and stay. She is housebroken, and loves to be outside during the day. She craves human attention! Beauty started to show signs of mobility problems and was evaluated. X-rays were taken which showed severe degenerative arthritis in her lower back. Her hips are fine. She is being treated with pain medication as needed and a calm, safe environment. She is spayed, shots up to date and dewormed. She tested negative for heartworm/lyme/ehrichia. It is estimated that Beauty is 5 years old. We are looking for that special person that wants to bring a dog into their life that needs special care. This person should be someone that will enjoy Beauty laying at their feet and waiting to be petted. Beauty will not need to be walked, only a fenced area where she can do her business.
