Teknotics is seeking a Developer Analyst for a minimum 6 month contract with the Texas Department of Health and Human Services. If you are interested and meet the following qualifications, please forward us your resume and rate requirements.

As part of the Disaster Assistance Payment Program (DAPP), the project will accomplish the following goals:

1. Create new interfaces for the Disaster Assistance Payment Program with Accounts Receivables and Payments

2. Enhance payment tracking

3. Enhance reporting capabilities

4. Ensure compliance with agency software development standards, including SDLC and PMLC

5. Upgrade the application to the current version of WebSphere and Oracle

6. Ensure business processes are not interrupted during the implementation

Essential Job Functions:

1. Performs systems analysis to evaluate the current application and system while considering additional customer requirements, systems requirements, software releases, equipment configurations, and relationships/dependencies between systems

2. Participate in customer definition and design meetings to gather requirements and functional specifications

3. Follow HHSC CIT standards for web based applications

4. Develop and implement new or revised methods that effectively meet agency needs

5. Documents agency IT processes to support IT software development

6. Prepare all required diagrams, charts, and tables that depict the present and proposed system in terms of benefits derived, and tasks accomplished

7. Provide technical leadership and direction to team members

Minimum Requirements:

* 5 years - Development experience in Web based applications
* 3 years - Development experience with WebSphere Application Server
* 3 years - Development experience with WebSphere Portal
* 2 years - Development experience with Oracle database
* 2 years - Experience coding languages and environments including but not limited to Java, J2EE, JSP, JSF, Hibernate, XML, HTML,
* 1 year - Development experience with Perl

Preferences:

* 2 years - Development experience with WebSphere Portal Server, JSF, Servlets, LDAP, Portlets, Hibernate, JDBC, SQL, JNDI required
* 1 year - WebSphere Application Server version 7.0
* 1 year - WebSphere Portal Server version 6.1
* 1 year - Oracle 10G minimum
