A manufacturer of ultra high-speed network & security test products, is looking for a Software Engineer to develop user interface and reporting features. In this role, you will be responsible for the design and implementation of features within our flash-based UI, as well as improvements to reporting for the company’s multi-gigabit network testers. The job applicant should be able design a meaningful and attractive report, and automate its creation on a Linux-based appliance. The position also includes interfacing with a Java-based backend.
Requirements:
* Strong programming skills in web-oriented languages (Java, Servlets, Javascript etc)
* Flash development experience
* Knowledge of ActionScript
* Familiarity with XML
* Knowledge of CSS
* Knowledge of Java preferred
* Familiarity with Google Web Toolkit desired
* At least 3 years of previous software engineering experience
* Creative, problem-solving approach to projects
* Comfort in a fast-paced startup environment
* Previous experience with networking or high-performance network a plus
